RSRSpa’s Guide to the 24h Race
More than just a race, the supreme test of man and machine on the fabled Spa-Francorchamps circuit is also a festival of all things racing. People from across Europe swarm to the Ardennes forest for a unique racing and party experience where the latest GT technology mixes perfectly with the atmosphere of the annual outdoor concert and carnival atmosphere.
As well as huge crowds, the Total 24 Hours of Spa also attracts a large TV following across the world, with viewers also buying in to the emotional investment of the race through the trials and tribulations of the competitors, usually in the notorious micro-climate of Spa.
During the race, the Lotto Village will be alive with activities and entertainment, especially on Saturday evening with a unique DJ Set. The concert line-up for this year’s event is now complete, with other internationally famous DJ’s taking to the stage as well. New this year is a concert on Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon.
The Village has traditionally been the centre of entertainment during the 24 Hours of Spa, and 2017 will be no different - but the Lotto Village is much more than just the Saturday evening concert.
After their success last year, the amazing riders from the Circus Trial Tour are back this year. The spectacular trial show takes place in the centre of the Lotto Village, where trial wizards will show you tricks on a trial bike that you would never believe possible. And there’s more! The Pirelli Challenge gives everybody the chance to drive a miniature GT3 car on one of the most spectacular slot racing tracks around.
Just in case you were wondering about the price of all this, everything – yes, the amazing concerts as well – is included in the General Entrance ticket.
